Mike Hypponen is the Chief Research Officer at F-Secure Corporation in Finland, who has, over the years, led his team through some of the largest computer virus outbreaks in history. For his commitment and involvement in all things related to cybersecurity, his research is frequently shared on print and broadcast media such as NY Times and Scientific American. He is welcomed by universities such as Stanford, Oxford, and Cambridge to share his knowledge. Hypponen has been credited by Twitter for improving Twitter’s security.
Hypponen is recognized for the Hypponen Law about IoT security, which states that whenever an appliance is described as `Smart’, it is vulnerable. We agree.

He has dedicated the last two decades of his life to computer security, making him one of the biggest names in this industry. Since earning his Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu black belt, the media describes Grossman as “the embodiment of converged IT and physical security.” Preventing attacks from the scariest cyber-criminals is all in a day’s work for Grossman, who founded WhiteHat Security, which today has one of the world’s largest professional hacking armies. Grossman has made it to MazeBolt’s list of Top Twitter Cybersecurity Influencers this year.

She provides guidance to numerous Fortune 100 companies in areas related to cybersecurity and company thought leadership.
In her recent Tweet, she asks retailers to prepare DDoS defenses ahead of time to be able to respond quickly to an attack. We endorse this.
